On behalf of the Law Society of Upper Canada, I wish to extend a warm welcome<br />
to the delegates and attendees of the Federation of <strong>Asian</strong> Canadian Lawyers’<br />
(<strong>FACL</strong>) <strong>2012</strong> Annual <strong>Conference</strong> and Banquet in Toronto.<br />
I congratulate <strong>FACL</strong> on hosting its sixth annual conference and offer my best<br />
wishes for another outstanding event. Your efforts in cultivating and advancing<br />
advocacy, community involvement, legal scholarship and professional<br />
development by <strong>Asian</strong> Canadian legal professionals deserve great applause.<br />
The Federation of <strong>Asian</strong> Canadian Lawyers is one of the largest associations in<br />
the country that represents equality-seeking legal professionals, and the Law<br />
Society of Upper Canada is thankful of its partnership with <strong>FACL</strong> to promote<br />
equity and diversity in law and the legal profession. The contributions you have<br />
made to promote equity, justice, and opportunity for <strong>Asian</strong> Canadian legal<br />
