The slots numbers can be determined by looking at the expansion rack from the back.<br />

Slot 1 is the rightmost slot and slot 7 is the leftmost slot. It is not recommended to<br />

put an SBCON HBA in slot 5 or 6, as this will restrict the PCI bus to 66 MHz PCI mode<br />

for both slots 5 and 6.<br />

There are some restrictions for PCI card placement. Some of them are based upon<br />

limiting the amount of engineering effort associated with testing the numerous<br />

combinations that would otherwise be possible. The following tables and the rules<br />

that follow them should be adhered while configuring <strong>Dorado</strong> <strong>4200</strong> Series systems.<br />

All PCIe cards in slots 1 to 3 must have half-height face plates. All slots are PCIe<br />
