6.2 Installation<br />
<strong>P4080</strong> PCIE <strong>Adapter</strong> SW patching<br />
The LTIB ISO used as a base for the patch is ltib-e500mc-p4080-usdpaa-b2.3.iso. This is the base<br />
LTIB software on which the patch given in the release has to be applied. The following steps need<br />
to be executed in-order to apply the patch.<br />
On an x86_64/x86 Linux development system, mount the iso using the loop device<br />
$ mount –o loop ltib-e500mc-p4080-usdpaa-b2.3.iso /mnt<br />
$ cd /mnt<br />
$ ./install<br />
This would prompt for the installation path for LTIB. Give path to “//<strong>P4080</strong>-PCIE-<br />
PRODUCTION-10-19-2011” (Note that <strong>P4080</strong>-PCIE-PRODUCTION-10-19-2011 is the<br />
