7.7 Using PCIE tool on x86 Host<br />

PCIE tool can be used on x86 Host machine to read and write <strong>P4080</strong> CCSR values and into any<br />

BAR memory region opened by <strong>P4080</strong> PCIE endpoint device. To use the tool, run “<strong>P4080</strong>-PCIE-<br />

PRODUCTION-10-19-2011/x86/utils/src/fsl_pcie_tool”. Various options to this command are<br />

listed below<br />

-r - Read the register<br />

-w - Write into the register<br />

-o - Offset of the register in CCSR space<br />

-b - Number of BAR register that is to be used for read and write operations<br />

-D - Display various CCSR register blocks<br />

-d - Display all the register values in a specific CCSR register block.<br />

The following command will print all the CCSR blocks with various IDs. These IDs can be used to<br />

print a specific block register values.<br />
