7.7 Using PCIE tool on x86 Host
PCIE tool can be used on x86 Host machine to read and write P4080 CCSR values and into any
BAR memory region opened by P4080 PCIE endpoint device. To use the tool, run “P4080-PCIE-
PRODUCTION-10-19-2011/x86/utils/src/fsl_pcie_tool”. Various options to this command are
listed below
-r - Read the register
-w - Write into the register
-o - Offset of the register in CCSR space
-b - Number of BAR register that is to be used for read and write operations
-D - Display various CCSR register blocks
-d - Display all the register values in a specific CCSR register block.
Sample output showing CCSR registers of FMan 10G interface
The following command will print all the CCSR blocks with various IDs. These IDs can be used to
print a specific block register values.
