Statement of Qualifications – Environmental Laboratory Services<br />

of Manchester, UK, in 2001. Prior to joining <strong>Pinchin</strong>, he was employed as a Post-doctoral Fellow in the<br />

Department of Mechanical Engineering at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario Canada. His areas of<br />

interest were acoustic and vibration analysis and control, machinery condition monitoring and fault<br />

diagnostics. At <strong>Pinchin</strong>, Weidong focuses on conducting acoustic audits and assessments for existing and<br />

proposed land uses in support of CofA applications under the Ontario Environmental Protection Act.<br />

Weidong is also specialized in performing industrial noise/vibration measurement, analysis, abatement<br />

and control.<br />

<strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Quality</strong> and Microbial Contamination<br />

Bruce Stewart, B.Sc., D.O.H.S., CIH, ROH, is a Senior Vice President. Mr. Stewart holds a B.Sc.<br />

(Honours Applied Chemistry), from the University of Waterloo (1978), and a diploma in Occupational<br />

Health and Safety from McMaster University (1981). He is certified by the American Board of Industrial<br />

Hygiene, and registered by the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists. He has been an<br />

occupational hygiene consultant since 1978, and has been at <strong>Pinchin</strong> Environmental since 1983. At<br />

<strong>Pinchin</strong> he specializes in the assessment and control of health hazards in general use buildings,<br />

particularly indoor air quality, mould contamination, asbestos and lead. He has participated on a number<br />

of professional committees including the mould taskforces of the Canadian Construction Association and<br />

the Environmental Abatement Council of Ontario. Mr. Stewart has broad experience as a trainer and<br />

facilitator for a range of health and safety issues, and is a frequent speaker at professional and trade<br />

events.<br />

Bernard Siedlecki is Senior Project Manager of the <strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Quality</strong> & Microbial Contamination<br />

Group focusing on IAQ, Microbiological, and PCB consulting services. Bernard joined <strong>Pinchin</strong><br />

Environmental in 1986. Prior to his current position, he prepared HVAC Systems Management and<br />

Preventative Maintenance Programs at a major mechanical consulting firm. In addition to providing<br />

expertise on a wide range of asbestos consulting issues, Bernard has developed the <strong>Pinchin</strong> procedures for<br />

<strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Quality</strong> assessments and set the company standards for PCB's consulting services, and is in the<br />

forefront of the area of microbiological consulting. Bernard personally conducts or oversees <strong>Pinchin</strong><br />

IAQ, microbiological, and PCB investigations<br />

Stephen Booth is the Operations Manager for the <strong>Indoor</strong> <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Quality</strong> and Microbial Contamination group<br />

at <strong>Pinchin</strong> Environmental. Mr. Booth studied Architectural Technology at Centennial College of Applied<br />

Arts and Technology. In 1993 he joined <strong>Pinchin</strong> Environmental where he specializes in mould<br />

management, indoor air quality, and hazardous materials. He supervises a staff of thirteen full time field<br />

technologists and project managers, and has overseen the preparation of asbestos surveys and<br />

management programs for national clients. Mr. Booth assesses a variety of health and safety issues and<br />

has presented seminars on mould, indoor air quality and asbestos.<br />

Environmental Laboratory Services<br />

Dr. Rafic Dulymamode is the Manager of the Environmental Microbiology Laboratory. He holds a<br />

combined honours Bachelors degree in Botany and Zoology from London University and M.Sc. in Pure<br />

and Applied Plant Taxonomy from Reading University. Rafic studied tropical fungal diversity for this<br />

doctoral thesis. He counts over 20 years of experience in an academic environment involved in teaching<br />

and mycological research. He joined <strong>Pinchin</strong> Environmental in February 2003 as a Mycologist and<br />
