Appendix D: Definition of Terms<br />
Program hazards at highway-rail crossings and the associated railroad corridor. Through the<br />
Sealed Corridor Program the safety of trains, passengers, motorists, pedestrians, and<br />
adjacent communities within and along a railroad corridor is enhanced, using proper<br />
treatments to methodically reduce the opportunity for accidents at highway-rail<br />
crossings or elsewhere within the corridor.<br />
