Disabled care
v Restore the right to personal assistance.
v Take steps to improve access and mobility of the
disabled, so that persons with functional impairment
can participate effectively in social and political
affairs.
v Introduce an assistive devices guarantee.
v Prohibit discrimination of the disabled.
v Improve transport services.
Public health
v Safeguard the liquor retailing monopoly, preserve
the age limit etc. so as to limit consumption of
alcohol.
v Improve the information provided in schools about
alcohol, narcotic drugs and tobacco, and improve
preventive activities aimed at reducing young
people’s drug use.
v Improve drug abuser care and augment its
admissions capacity.
v Introduce drug-free prisons. The police must also
be given special units to deal with drug issues.
v Give more money to the customs to stop drug
smuggling.
v Extend the drug abusers’ syringe exchange project
to include more communities in Sweden.
Equal opportunities - liberal feminism
v Give women the same power as men over their
lives. This calls for greater gender equality at work,
in business enterprise, in politics and in society
generally.
v Combat unfair rates of pay for women and abolish
pay discrimination.
v Abolish the monopoly in health service and schools,
so as to elevate the status of jobs where women
predominate.
v Support entreprenurial initiatives by women.
