Syntax for ABL Attributes<br />

The OpenEdge <strong>SQL</strong> statements CREATE TABLE and ALTER TABLE allow you to define ABL<br />

(Advanced Business Language) attributes for tables and columns. This section lists and<br />

describes the <strong>SQL</strong> keywords to use with CREATE TABLE and ALTER TABLE syntax. For examples<br />

of syntax using <strong>SQL</strong> keywords for ABL attributes, see the CREATE TABLE and ALTER TABLE<br />

entries in the “OpenEdge <strong>SQL</strong> Statements” section on page 1.<br />
