A4.2.2. Quality Control and Global Consistency<br />

These are managed by the following processes:<br />

l Production and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for all functions related to<br />

delivery of the SA audit service.<br />

l Regular training of personnel on those SOPs.<br />

l Ensuring personnel are suitably trained and experienced for their job role and responsibilities.<br />

l Implementation and maintenance of the audit body’s management system.<br />

l Implementing and maintaining an internal audit programme.<br />

l Production of Key Performance Indicators and objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement<br />

in service delivery.<br />

l Implementation and maintenance of specific processes to ensure global consistency of service delivery.<br />

These should include:<br />

l Central analysis of clients’ SA reports to assess compliance with requirements (Central analysis<br />

may be based on a sampling approach).<br />

l Feedback loop systems for communication (internally and externally).<br />

l Communication to network of clients’ requirements and SOPs.<br />

l Maintenance of technical information and knowledge management.<br />
