Tambellup Water Area.<br />

Making of Rate for Seven Months ending<br />

30th June, 1956.<br />

NOTICE is hereby given that the Minister for Water<br />

Supply, Sewerage and Drainage, acting under the<br />

powers conferred by the Water Boards Act, 1904-<br />

1953, has ordered a rate of one shilling and seven-<br />

pence farthing (ls. lId.) in the pound (E) on the<br />

annual rateable value, subject to a minimum rate<br />

of eleven shillings and eight pence (us, ad.) to be<br />

made and levied for seven months ending the 30th<br />

June, 1956, on all land liable to be rated within<br />

the Tambellup Water Area. A memorandum of<br />

such order has been duly made and signed in the<br />

ratebook which has been made up and shall at<br />

all reasonable times be open to inspection by any<br />

rat epayer.<br />

NOTICE is hereby given that the Nedlands Road<br />

Board on the 6th day of December, 1955, passed<br />

the following resolution:"That the Nedlands<br />

Road Board in pursuance of section 7 of the Town<br />

Planning and Development Act, 1928-1953, amend<br />

the Nedlands Town Planning Scheme that was<br />

gazetted on the 13th March, 1931, and amended by<br />

notice published in the Government Gazette on the<br />

27th January, 1933, by the deletion of the following<br />

allotments from the shopping area and including<br />

same in the residential areas, i.e., lots 220 to 224,<br />

Alexander Road and lots 225 to 235 Waratah<br />

Avenue."<br />

And notice is hereby given that details of the<br />

amendment referred to in the resolution have been<br />

delineated on the plan of the scheme deposited at<br />

the Board's office Stirling Highway, Nedlands, and<br />

will be open to inspection by all persons interested<br />

without payment of any fee from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<br />

on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, excluding public<br />

holidays.<br />

Any objections to the proposed amendment<br />

should be sent in writing to the Town Clerk, Nedlands<br />

Municipal Council, on or before the 13th<br />

IT is hereby notified for general information that<br />

it is the intention of His Excellency the Governor,<br />

acting under the provisions of the Road Districts<br />

Act, 1919-1954, to alter the common boundary<br />

between the Moora and Victoria Plains Road Districts<br />

by:<br />

(1) Severing all that portion of the Moora Road<br />

District described in Schedule "A" hereto and annexing<br />

it to the Victoria Plains Road District.
