On the second day of the institute, ute,<br />

participants attended a luncheon at the he Federal<br />

Reserve Bank of New York and heard Shi Yong, o ong, oong,<br />

deputy consul general of the People’s Republic<br />

of China in New York, discuss cuss U.S.-China U.S trade<br />

relations. Institute participants ipants were we also invited<br />

to tour the Federal Reserve Bank’s Bank’s ks g gold vault.<br />

At the conclusion of the institute, nstitu tit t the<br />

permanent representative of Chile to the United<br />

Nations, Heraldo Muñoz, ñoz, joined jo joined participants<br />

at a local Latin American n restaurant re to discuss<br />

prospects for strengthening g U.S. relations with<br />
