away holiday shoppers

an understand the city's
need for meters during the
summer months. But, is it
necessary during the off
season?
I would think the amount
of revenue coming into the
dty in other ways is quite
substantial.

do not always have avail.

meters and because of this I
leave the dty, in anger, to
shop elsewhere.
Somers Point is considered
a resort area but we do
not burden the people with
parking meters.
It is about time Ocean
City did something about
this. I am not alone in my
thinking,
Christinas shopping time
is here, and yesterday, I left
your city to shop elsewhere.

In celebration of Halloween, students
in the eighth grade class at St. Augustines
Elementary School, Ocean City created stories
of horror, mystery and intrigue; exploring
All Hallows Eve with their own masterpieces
in composition. They had been studying
diverse sentence structure and elements of
a successful story under the guidance
of language arts teacher Karen Hartsaugh.
Among the stories is this one by student
Mary D'Ottavi. Serving as an illustration
here Is the art of another eighth grade student,
Marci Cash, who drew the cover to Illustrate
her own story. TM Dreadful Halloween in 1883.
