Willis D. Glasford<br />

Willis D. GLASFORD, 70, Rt. 2, Macy, died at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday on his farm,<br />

where he was splitting wood.<br />

He was born July 9, 1920 near Macy in Miami <strong>County</strong> to John W. and Orra NORMAN<br />

GLASFORD. He had lived in Macy and Akron most of his life. On Oct. 27, 1974 in Macy he<br />

married Mary GEISLER HINES, who survives. For the past two years he had been an employee<br />

of Lyle Deeds Construction Company in Deedsville. He was a retired farmer. He was an Army<br />

veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific <strong>The</strong>ater. He was a member of the Ebenezer United<br />

Methodist church, a member of the Macy Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star for almost 50 years,<br />

and a member of the <strong>Rochester</strong> Eagles Lodge, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.<br />

Surviving with his wife are four step-sons, Randy L. HEINS [sic], Kokomo; James M.,<br />

Roger D. and Robert L. HEINS, all of Kewanna; a step-daughter, Marquetta BOWER, Merced,<br />

Calif.; five step-grandchildren; two brothers, Loren GLASFORD, San Antonio, Texas, and<br />

Melcom Dean GLASFORD, Macy.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Foster & Good funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with the<br />

Rev. Robert LOUGHEED officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, southeast of<br />

Macy. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. <strong>The</strong> Macy<br />

Masonic Lodge will conduct a memorial service at 8 p.m. today. <strong>The</strong> American Legion and<br />

Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct military graveside services.<br />

Ina C. Zellers<br />

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home,<br />

<strong>Rochester</strong> for Ina C. ZELLERS, 89, Sycamore Village Retirement Home, Kokomo.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Rev. Jack HARTMAN will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in<br />

the Rochesrter I.O.O.F. Cemetery.<br />

Mrs. Zellers died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Sycamore Village. She was born April 29,<br />

1901 in Morgantown to Wesley and Cora CAMPBELL. She moved to Kokomo from <strong>Rochester</strong><br />

in 1960. On Dec. 31, 1961 in Las Vegas she married Murlen E. ZELLERS, who died Dec. 31,<br />

1974.<br />

Surviving are two step-daughters, Betty SMITH, Macy, and Evelyn CLARK, Greenville,<br />

S.C.; three step-sons, Fred ZELLERS, <strong>Rochester</strong>; Louis ZELLERS, Glendora, Calif., and Phil<br />

ZELLERS, Manassas, Va.; eleven step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren, and a sister,<br />

Esther KRITZER, Nashville, Ind. Preceding in death were a brother and two sisters.
