Sanford Snyder<br />
Sanford “Sandy” SNYDER, 56, Rt. 6, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 10:59 p.m. Thursday at St.<br />
Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, following a three week illness.<br />
He was born Aug. 29, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to Lester and Carol JACOX SNYDER.<br />
He moved here 11 years ago from Plymouth. On June 12, 1955 in Plymouth he married Jeaneen<br />
L. MOORE, who survives. He worked 23 y6ears for the Indiana Tool Manufacturing Corp.,<br />
Plymouth. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />
Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Tim (Lisa) MUNDINGER, Warsaw; A son,<br />
Stephen J. [SNYDER], Upland; five grandchildren, Micah, Betsy and Ben MUNDINGER,<br />
Warsaw, and Stephanie and Ryan SNYDER, Upland; a sister, Mrs. Thad (Carolyn) JONES,<br />
Mishawaka; a brother, Jay [SNYDER], Plymouth, and nieces and nephews. Preceding in death<br />
were his parents.<br />
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, with the<br />
Rev. Clifton WILKINS Sr., officiating. Burial will be in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.<br />
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God or<br />
the Tim and Lisa Mundinger missionary Fund.<br />

Isaac Slonaker<br />
Isaac “Ike” SLONAKER, 75, Rt. 7, <strong>Rochester</strong>, died at 11:25 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph<br />
Medical Center, South Bend. Rites are pending at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>.<br />

Reardon J. Newman<br />
Reardon J. NEWMAN, 83, of Four Seasons Mobile Home Estates, died at 12:30 a.m.<br />
Sunday at his residence. He had been in failing health for a year.<br />
He was born Sept. 14, 1907 in Lexington, Ky., to Lawrence and Mary McQUEENEY<br />
NEWMAN. He moved here in 1939 from Cincinnati, Ohio. On May 6, 1939 in <strong>Rochester</strong> he<br />
married Mararet E. HALTERMAN, who survives. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic<br />
Church and the Knights of Columbus, and was an Army veteran of World War II.<br />
Surviving with his wife are a sister, Ruth GAFFNEY, Lesington, and nieces and<br />
nephews. Preceding in death were three sisters and a brother.<br />
Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Frank<br />
KILCLINE officiating. Burial will be in the <strong>Rochester</strong> I.O.O.F. Cemetery. <strong>The</strong> American Legion<br />
and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will conduct military graveside services. Friends may call from<br />
3:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, <strong>Rochester</strong>, where a vigil service will<br />
be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday.<br />
Philip C. Master<br />
Philip C. MASTER, 74, Monterey, died at 11:20 a.m. Sunday at his winter home in<br />
Zephyrhills, Fla.<br />
Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, is in charge of arrangements.
