Ronald S. SEE, 44, Rt. 1, Macy, died at 12:55 p.m. Monday at Dukes Memorial Hospital,
Peru.
He was born Dec. 20, 1946 in Rochester to Errett Jim and Laura Louise BERGER SEE.
He was a farmer, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are two brothers, James E. and Richard E. [SEE], both of Rochester; two
sisters, Donna SPARKS, Rochester, and Marcia KAHLER, Rt. 1, Macy; his step-mother, Lucy
SEE, Rt. 2, Macy; a step-sister; a step-brother, and nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were
his parents, four sisters and a brother.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Rev.
Lawrence SEE officiating. Burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery, near Deedsville. Friencs
may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Iva O. Shriver
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, for Iva O.
SHRIVER, 83, of 140 Jefferson St.
The Rev. Brian TAMMANY officiated and burial was in the Akron Cemetery.
She died at 9 a.m. Saturday at Life Care Center, where she had been a patient for three
weeks. She was born May 4, 1907 in Akron to Clarence and Jessie ACHEY SHRIVER. She
moved to Rochester in 1945 from California. She owned and operated The Beauty Shop for over
30 years. She was a graduate of Akron High School, and was a sergeant in the Women’s Army
Corps during World War II.
Surviving are a brother, Lloyd [SHRIVER], Palm Springs, Fla., and nieces and nephews,
including Mrs. Paul (Sandra) TYLER, Rochester. Preceding in death were two brothers, Martin
and Floyd [SHRIVER], and a sister, Mildred HARPER.
