Louise J. Wojdyla<br />

Louise J. WOJDYLA, 67, Starke <strong>County</strong> Road 800 East, Ora, died Thursday at her home.<br />

She was born Feb. 22, 1923 in East Chicago and had lived in the Ora area since 1969,<br />

moving from St. John. She was a cook at Culver Military Academy, a member of St. Anne’s<br />

Catholic Church in Monterey, the Rosary Sodality of the church, and the Culver Eagles Lodge.<br />

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Diane) KANTHAL, San Francisco; three sons,<br />

David [WOJDYLA], Spring, Texas; Joseph [WOJDYLA], Twin Falls, Idaho, and Edward<br />

[WOJDYLA], Columbus; ten grandchildren, and three sisters, Mary DUBCZAK, Hammond;<br />

Jeannie GRUDZIEN and Francie BAZAN, both of Calumet City.<br />

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Monterey with<br />

the Rev. Gerald BORAWSKI officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call<br />

at the Bonine Funeral Home in Culver from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, where the Scriptural Wake<br />

service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, and the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.<br />

Luella M. Norris<br />

Luella M. NORRIS, 62, Valparaiso, died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at Porter Memorial<br />

Hospital, Valparaiso.<br />

She was born June 25, 1928 in Genison, Mich., to Jesse and Mary BREDEHOST<br />

OSBORN. On Aug.11, 1956 in Argos she married Manford L. NORRIS, who survives. She was<br />

an assistant to the head of technical services at the Porter <strong>County</strong> <strong>Library</strong>, Valparaiso. She was a<br />

member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Valparaiso, and a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and<br />

Greenville College.<br />

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Keren BONE, Fairbanks,Alaska, and<br />

Linda CARULLO, Valparaiso; two sons, Jim [NORRIS], Charlotte, N.C., and Alan [NORRIS],<br />

Valparaiso; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Linda CONLEY, Medaryville; Rosemary OSBORN,<br />

Valparaiso; Irene MILLER, Muncie, and Alice SCHEETZ, LaGrange, and two brothers, Lowell<br />

[OSBORN], Lafayette, and Marvin [OSBORN], Plymouth.<br />

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St.,<br />

Valparaiso, with the Rev. Don MORAN officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery,<br />

Valparaiso. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Thursday and after noon Friday. Memorials may be<br />

made to the American Cancer Society or the Porter <strong>County</strong> Visiting Nurses Association.
