Louise J. WOJDYLA, 67, Starke County Road 800 East, Ora, died Thursday at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1923 in East Chicago and had lived in the Ora area since 1969,
moving from St. John. She was a cook at Culver Military Academy, a member of St. Anne’s
Catholic Church in Monterey, the Rosary Sodality of the church, and the Culver Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Diane) KANTHAL, San Francisco; three sons,
David [WOJDYLA], Spring, Texas; Joseph [WOJDYLA], Twin Falls, Idaho, and Edward
[WOJDYLA], Columbus; ten grandchildren, and three sisters, Mary DUBCZAK, Hammond;
Jeannie GRUDZIEN and Francie BAZAN, both of Calumet City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Monterey with
the Rev. Gerald BORAWSKI officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call
at the Bonine Funeral Home in Culver from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, where the Scriptural Wake
service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, and the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Luella M. Norris
Luella M. NORRIS, 62, Valparaiso, died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at Porter Memorial
Hospital, Valparaiso.
She was born June 25, 1928 in Genison, Mich., to Jesse and Mary BREDEHOST
OSBORN. On Aug.11, 1956 in Argos she married Manford L. NORRIS, who survives. She was
an assistant to the head of technical services at the Porter County Library, Valparaiso. She was a
member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Valparaiso, and a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and
Greenville College.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Keren BONE, Fairbanks,Alaska, and
Linda CARULLO, Valparaiso; two sons, Jim [NORRIS], Charlotte, N.C., and Alan [NORRIS],
Valparaiso; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Linda CONLEY, Medaryville; Rosemary OSBORN,
Valparaiso; Irene MILLER, Muncie, and Alice SCHEETZ, LaGrange, and two brothers, Lowell
[OSBORN], Lafayette, and Marvin [OSBORN], Plymouth.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St.,
Valparaiso, with the Rev. Don MORAN officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery,
Valparaiso. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Thursday and after noon Friday. Memorials may be
made to the American Cancer Society or the Porter County Visiting Nurses Association.
