The <strong>PRS</strong> Editing Management Screen<br />
NOTE: Screen shots in this manual may have “Developmental” or Continuing. Please disregard the<br />
label and follow the instructions which will lead you through both processes.<br />
The Program Reporting System is actually many computer programs in one, because it allows data entry for all<br />
your approved programs. <strong>PRS</strong> collects approval review information and submits it to the <strong>GaPSC</strong>. <strong>PRS</strong> will<br />
collect contextual information about each type of preparation program as well as performance data that define<br />
how well the program meets the Georgia Standards 2008 for educator preparation.<br />
During the operation of <strong>PRS</strong> you will be asked to supply narrative text you have already composed and to<br />
"upload" files stored on your computer locally. To understand the scope of files and data you will need, it may<br />
be helpful to look through the PowerPoint tutorial presentation supplied with <strong>PRS</strong> and to study the sample<br />
program data detail chart on Page 5.<br />
The <strong>PRS</strong> Editing Management Screen should display all your school system/agency/organization approved<br />
programs, including endorsement programs. The classification should match approval status for each<br />
program. If some program name is missing, or if the classification is not correct, please contact your <strong>GaPSC</strong><br />
consultant.<br />
To begin data entry in category I or II, click the Edit button shown at the right side of the screen.<br />
To begin data entry for a particular program in the list, click on the program name.<br />
