Prerequisite: Introduction to Windows<br />
This course provides lessons in a clean,<br />
easy-to-follow layout that appeals to a wide<br />
variety of learning styles. You will learn to:<br />
create documents with Word 2007, edit<br />
documents, format text and paragraphs, format<br />
documents, create and format tables, illustrate<br />
documents with graphics, work with themes<br />
and building blocks, merge Word documents,<br />
work with styles and templates, develop<br />
multipage documents, work with references,<br />
integrate Word with other programs, build<br />
forms, and collaborate with co-workers.<br />

This course provides lessons in a clean,<br />

from lessons on basic math skills to help<br />
you learn about formulas and functions.<br />
You will learn the new features of Microsoft<br />
Excel 2007, including the new user interface,<br />
charting capabilities, new functions, and<br />
structured references in table formulas.<br />
You will benefit from independent challenge<br />
exercises which will require you to create<br />
spreadsheets for your everyday life, such<br />
as personal budget or loan calculator.<br />

to the medical industry, providing you with<br />
the Word skills you need to be successful to<br />
support the front or back office of a clinic,<br />
hospital, or medical practice.<br />

Windows XP Basic<br />
This course teaches students the fundamentals<br />
of using Windows XP to maintain<br />
their computer, access Help, and use the<br />
Internet Explorer Web Browser. This course<br />
will introduce you to the Windows desktop<br />
components and the Windows XP Help<br />
and Support Center. Learn how to navigate<br />
the folder hierarchy and search for files by<br />
using My Computer and Windows Explorer<br />
and manage files and folders by using the<br />
Recycle Bin. Course activities also cover<br />
creating simple word processing documents<br />
and drawings, customizing the desktop, and<br />
browsing the Internet.<br />

Prerequisite: MS Excel 2007 Basic<br />
This course teaches the use of multiple<br />
worksheets and workbooks, and the more<br />
advanced formatting options including styles,<br />
themes, backgrounds, and watermarks. You<br />
will also learn how to create outlines and<br />
subtotals, apply cell names, and work with lists<br />
and tables. You will save workbooks as<br />
Web pages, insert and edit hyperlinks, and<br />
save a workbook as a PDF file. This course<br />
also covers advanced charting techniques,<br />
worksheet auditing and protection, file sharing<br />
and merging, and workbook templates.<br />
