Youth Transition to Work
Program
Connecting your apprenticeship, Technical Studies, and
Civil Engineering degrees
Youth Transition to Work (YTTW) is a state-funded grant program that
promotes work-based learning and continuing education. One goal is to
help students understand the value of apprenticeship opportunities in the
construction trades, as well as to assist them in applying for these
apprenticeships.
Eligibility Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 18–23 years old
• Valid Driver’s License
Benefits
• High paying jobs in the construction
industry
• Scholarships to attend classes at GCC
for participants who have graduated
from partnership high schools
• Career counseling
• Ability to transfer for apprenticeship-on-the-job
training with
college credits.
