Notary Public <strong>Education</strong> and Training<br />
There is a growing need for Notaries Public in many professions, including financial, real<br />
estate, business and legal professions. This class will educate you on how to become a valuable<br />
employee and how to better protect your employer’s business. You will be given detailed<br />
instructions on how to obtain your notary commission for the State of New Jersey.<br />
Additionally, you will acquire skills and tools to complete your state assigned job duties as<br />
described by the New Jersey Department of Revenue. Completion of this course will give<br />
any notary (new or renewing) the ability to perform all notary duties with less liability and<br />
more confidence!<br />

• What is my liability as a New Jersey Notary?<br />

The NJDEP mandates that anyone applying<br />
for an industrial wastewater treatment<br />
system license complete an approved<br />
industrial wastewater management course<br />
prior to taking the examination. Topics<br />
include introduction to monitoring,<br />
treatment processes, maintenance and safety,<br />
and nitrogen and phosphorus removal.<br />
Upon successful completion of this course,<br />
you will be eligible to take the “N” category<br />
license exam (designated for industrial or<br />
process wastewater systems.) Earn 4.5 CEUs.<br />

Forklift Operator Training<br />
<strong>Gloucester</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>College</strong>, in partnership<br />
with Smith and Solomon, is pleased to offer<br />
Forklift Operator Training that is OSHA<br />
compliant (1910.178) with the goal of<br />
training individuals to properly and safely<br />
operate a lift truck. Upon completion,<br />
you will be evaluated on three pieces of<br />
equipment and if successful, will be certified<br />
for three years. The components of the<br />
program are as follows:<br />
• 4 hours of classroom instruction<br />
• 4 hours of hands-on operation of:<br />
- Sit-down counterbalanced truck<br />
- Stand-on narrow aisle picker<br />
- Motorized hand truck<br />
• Operation in both closed and open<br />
environments<br />
Successful students will receive a<br />
Certificate of Completion.<br />
