Και έχει κι άλλο (Ολλανδοί, τι να λέμε). Αντίθετα στην -αρκετά προκατηλειμένη
και στενόμυαλη- αντίληψη των EDM haters, ότι η σκηνή “είναι μόνο για τα
λεφτά και για να τρελαίνει τα παιδάκια με τα ψυχωτικά bpm” (υπάρχουν
κι αυτοί, τι να κάνεις), φέτος το ADE έκλεισε πολλά στόματα τονίζοντας τη
δεοντολογική του πλευρά. Συνεργάστηκε με την ID&T και λάνσαρε το ADE
Green, ένα απόγευμα γεμάτο διαδραστικά panels, συζητήσεις και debates
για τη βιωσιμότητα των υλικών και το ταίριασμα της EDM με την προστασία
του περιβάλλοντος. Σκοπός ήταν να ενημερώσει και να προκαλέσει
ευαισθησία σχετικά με ζητήματα οικολογίας στα party animals, όπως και
να διαδώσει πληροφορίες μέσω επαγγελματιών, σχετικά με την ανάγκη, τις
μεθόδους και τα πλεονεκτήματα της ένταξης των βιώσιμων υλικών στο lifestyle
και στις επιχειρήσεις. Οι επισκέπτες του ADE Green είχαν την ευκαιρία
να δουν παρουσιάσεις και case studies από πρωτοπόρους ειδικούς στην
περιβαλλοντολογία με εστίαση στα προβλήματα, τις λύσεις και τις καλύτερες
πρακτικές.
And there is even more (yes, the Dutch make this possible). Contrary to
the - quite biased and narrow-minded - belief of EDM haters that “it’s
all about money and beguiling people with those mental bpm’s”, this
year’s ADE kept several spiteful mouths shut, gracefully underlining
the ethical aspect of the gathering. It collaborated with ID&T and organized
ADE Green, an afternoon filled with interactive panels, discussions
and debates on sustainability and the coupling of EDM with the
environmental protection. The aim was to inculcate sensitivity to green
issues and spread awareness among party-goers, as well as to provide
professional information about the need, methods and advantages of
integrating sustainability into lifestyle and business. Attendants had
the chance to see presentations and case studies from leading experts,
focusing on the problems, the solutions and the best practices;
more specifically on the many green opportunities that artists and
management can get involved in, and how they can inspire their fans
to do the same. In the effort to promote environmental-friendly ways
of holding musical gatherings, ADE Green even integrated the celebration
of sustainable festival food. An incredibly thoughtful and inspiring
initiative that makes the abbreviation of EDM fit to imply Environmental
Dance Music.
