4. The Class AAAA semifinal games will be played on Friday at 6:00<br />

p.m., and 9:00 p.m., and the Class AAAAA semifinal games will be<br />

played on Saturday at 6:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. In Classes A, AA and<br />

AAA, there will be one game from each class each day.<br />

D. The championship game in each class will be played on Saturday,<br />

December 4, unless changed by mutual agreement of the schools<br />

involved and with the approval of the GHSA Executive Director or<br />

changed due to the television contract. NOTE: The Class AAAA state<br />

championship game will be played Friday, December 3, <strong>2004</strong> at 7:30<br />

p.m., while the Class AAAAA state championship game will be played on<br />

Saturday, December 4, <strong>2004</strong>, at 6 p.m.<br />

E. In case that a State Championship game ends in a tie, the two teams will<br />

be declared co-champions.<br />

F. In order to host a playoff game, a school must meet the following site<br />

requirements:<br />

1. Seating requirements:<br />

(a) One seat equals 24 inches in width<br />

(b) All seats must be at least 15 feet from playing field<br />

(c) Total seating capacity for each class is as follows:<br />

Class A 2,500 seats<br />

Class AA 2,500 seats<br />

Class AAA 3,000 seats<br />

Class AAAA 4,000 seats<br />

Class AAAAA 6,000 seats<br />

(d) Each principal of a school in the playoffs shall certify that the<br />

school stadium meets or does not meet football playoff requirements.<br />

If a principal certifies such information falsely, then<br />

$2,000.00 of such school's share of the gate receipts of the<br />

contest held in the noncomplying stadium shall be paid to the<br />

opposing team. NOTE: If the visiting team waives the requirement,<br />

the schools may play in that stadium. If there is no waiver,<br />

the host school will have to find a suitable venue.<br />

(e) Region Secretaries shall collect seating information from each<br />

school in their region and file it with the GHSA office by August<br />

15th each year. The form shall include the number of seats on<br />

the home and on the visitor’s side.<br />

2. One half of all permanent and temporary seats shall be offered to the<br />

visiting team, and it is the responsibility of the home team to regulate<br />

the seating so as to guarantee assigned seating to the visiting team's<br />

supporters.<br />

3. There should be adequate parking space with a recommendation<br />

of one (1) space for every four (4) spectators.<br />

4. The stadium shall have adequate working space in the press box as<br />

follows:<br />

Class A 30 linear feet<br />

Class AA 30 linear feet<br />

Class AAA 30 linear feet<br />

Class AAAA 40 linear feet<br />

Class AAAAA 50 linear feet
