Necessary Tools • Module Horizontal Resolution Adjustment tool • Screwdriver (Cross type) • Green Seal • Torsional Driver • Tweezers Safety Precautions The following precautions should be observed in handling the scanner described in this guide: • Place the scanner on a flat, level and stable surface. • Do not place the scanner in environments subject to mist, smoke, vibration, excessive dust, salty or greasy air, or other corrosive gases and fumes. • Do not drop or jolt the scanner. • Do not bump or knock the document glass as it is fragile and could break. • Do not use another power adapter other than the one enclosed with the scanner. • Disconnect the AC adapter and USB Cable. Slide the lock switch to unlock position before performing any maintenance procedures on the scanner. Version: 1.0 Page 5/59
