The value of each skill is as follows:

- Acrobats must perform one element from each row.
- Pair / group and individual skills must be performed in the order prescribed.
- Each acrobat from a pair / group may select different individual skills from each
row, but they must be performed at the same time or in immediate succession
during the routine.
- Skills must be performed in the order that they appear in the Levels Manual
- Choreography must be included, and must be more than simple joining steps.
o The body movements are in line with the music, eg Egyptian music we
would expect a style of dance and movements that would provide the
judges with the feel of an Egyptian performance
- We are looking for development of the main components of Artistry:
o Floor Coverage – more than half the floor covered
o Harmony between the group – the group work in time with each other
o Space – covers movement high, medium and low in relation to the floor.
This means movements that are above the floor – jumps, on the floor –
dance steps, and low – rolls.
- Music is compulsory, and must meet the guidelines outlined elsewhere in this
manual
- Only skills will be judged for execution
- Only the CJP judges Artistry. The Artistry mark will be a deduction off the final
Execution score, with a maximum deduction of 1.0 – as outlined in the Judging
section of this Manual
- The CJP can give a bonus mark of up to 0.5, which will be added to the final
execution score:
o The Pair / Group covers more than half the floor – 0.1
o The Pair / Group show Harmony between themselves during the majority
of the routine – 0.1
o The Pair / Group cover high, medium and low movements at some stage
during the routine – 0.1
o The Pair / Group show a variety of choreography throughout the routine –
0.1
o The Pair / Group are well presented at all times during the routine, and not
sloppy or loose – 0.1
