International Incoming Student’s Guide
6.1.8 Enrolment Immatricolazione
To enrol you should go to the Segreteria Studenti (Student Office). There are two of them
according to the faculty:
Humanities:
Lettere e filosofia, Giurisprudenza, Economia, Scienze politiche
(Arts and philosophy, Law, Economics, Political Science)

Wednesday: 13.45 ‐ 16.15.
In the Segreteria Studenti you can enrol in the university, you can get all the documents
you need for your study period, like the libretto, a booklet where teachers write all your
official grades for each exam. This booklet is very important because it is the document
that you must show at every exam you take until the end of your studies.
Another very important document that you can get from the Segreteria Studenti is the
Statino: it is an official document that indicates all your exams, the course names, the
course codes and it also indicates if you are regularly enrolled in the university. You must
have a copy of it with you every time you take an exam. Make some photocopies of this
document so that you won’t have to go back to the Segreteria Studenti every time you
have an exam and stand in the queue for hours to get it. Pay attention to the expiring
date of the statino.

6.1.9 Study plan Piano di studi
A statino is based on another official document called piano di studi (study plan): every
student has to fill out a piano di studi on the internet.
Go to the university home page www.unipv.eu and Studenti > Segreteria on line >Area
Riservata. You have to do a piano di studi at the beginning of the year. Pay attention to
the deadline set by the Segreteria Studenti.
Each faculty has its deadline, and after the deadline you will have to pay a penalty to
make any change to your study plan. In this document you will indicate the modules you
want to take that academic year.
