International Incoming Student’s Guide In synthesis, STEP has gradually become a sort of 'primary institution' within the Erasmus student community in Pavia: indeed the ESN‐STEP office is the very first place students should visit to make it easier to enter a dynamic and amazing international reality. (Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l'Europe) is a dynamic and young student association. It organises travels, courses and a lot of activities which allow the participants to move around Europe in a unique way. A.E.G.E.E aegeepavia@libero.it www.unipv.it/aegeepavia 6.2.11 Camerata de’ Bardi Camerata de' Bardi was founded in 1989 by a group of students passionate about music, but with the passage of time it has assumed the true character of a chamber orchestra, more precisely Orchestra of the University of Pavia. Still, Camerata de’ Bardi is always happy to welcome students who can play an instrument and wish to meet other students with the same passion, offering a true opportunity of playing good music together in a funny way. Camerata de’ Bardi plays mostly Baroque music, but also jazz, blues and film music, performing in partnership with choirs and theatre companies both as full Orchestra and in ensembles. University college "L. Valla" is its headquarter, while the San Luca church and the University of Pavia host its main concert halls. Camerata de’ Bardi often travel playing around Europe. Camerata de’ Bardi invites all incoming Erasmus and international students not to be shy, and, of course, not to leave their instrument at home! It deals with topics related to the university, cultural activities, politics, society, music and cinema.
