1.4 RESEARCH HYPOTHESIS<br />
For this study, it was hypothesised that:<br />
There will be a significant improvement in the body mass, sum <strong>of</strong> seven skinfolds,<br />
percentage body fat, flexibility, vertical jump, 10m and 40m speed, 1- RM bench<br />
press, pull-ups, 1 minute push-ups and predicted maximum oxygen uptake between<br />
pre-season, mid-season and post-season.<br />
There will be no significant change in the body mass, sum <strong>of</strong> seven skinfolds,<br />

following physical <strong>fitness</strong> characteristics: body mass, sum <strong>of</strong> seven skinfolds,<br />

press, pull-ups,1 minute push-ups and predicted maximum oxygen uptake.<br />
