2) Timecode Offset. This setting allows you to add an offset to the timecode that will be reported to an RS-422 controller. Should you have other pieces of equipment downstream from HD-Connect MI that add further frame delays through your setup, you may wish to set an additional offset here. 3) Output Format. This setting allows you to choose the video output format from the following options: Native – camera/deck output settings determine format; use this setting if connected to an HDV deck 1080i – force 1080i output from camera 720p – force 720p output from camera 486i – force NTSC SD output from camera 576i – force PAL SD output from camera Options that force output to a particular format work well for devices that do not themselves have a menu selection for output formats.
