On May 17-18, 2011 at National Museum of Archaeology and History of Moldova will be held scientific meetings<br />
dedicated to celebrating 195 years since the creation of Bessarabia surveying Committee, led by Col. S.I.<br />
Kornilovici.<br />
The events will include:<br />
1. Scientific conference "Land Ownership in Bessarabia: tradition, organization and regulation" (NMAHM,<br />
Mmeeting room, beginning at 10.00 / 17 May 2011)<br />
2. The inauguration of the exhibition "A mapping of old estates" (NMAHM, ground floor room / May 18, 2011).<br />
We invite you to attend the Scientific Conference Land Ownership in Bessarabia: history, organization and<br />
regulation, in which we expect to approach a wide range of issues related to surveying, cadastre and land<br />
relations (institutions, legislation, persons, estates and landlords) in the territory between the Prut and Dniester<br />
in the period between the late eighteenth century - first half of the twentieth century. If you decide to join our<br />
events, please notify us of your presence and also send us until April 10, 2011 the abstract of your<br />
communication by e-mail to info@nationalmuseum.md for its publication and the elaboration within a<br />
reasonable time of the Conference program.<br />
