The Cantor Arts Center presents a wide selection of art in 24
ranges from ancient China to the 21st century, including the
largest collection of Rodin bronzes in the world outside Paris.
Current exhibitions include:
1. A Rediscovered Masterpiece: 12 Drawings from Tiepolo’s
New Testament - Illustrations drawn by the prolific Venetian
master Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo
2. True Colors: Rediscovering Pigments on Greco-Roman
Marble Sculpture - A Center team discovered minute traces of
pigments using handheld X-ray fluorescence technology that
originally covered an ancient marble sculpture. Creating
replicas using 3D rapid prototypic technology, the team
recreated and painted examples of the brightly colored
sculpture of ancient times.
