"Visit your museum, the objects will tell your story" (from 10am to 2pm)
Free admission, visit. Guided tours highlighting some objects and items of interest.
During 19 and 20, May, 2011, guided tours will be offered to visitors with a minimum of 15 people per group
after 10:30am in the two exhibitions that are part of the Municipal Museum. It is imperative to fix the
participation to the local festival before May 18. Free admission.

Museo de Veterinaria Militar
Military veterinary historical material (Monday to Friday from
9.30am to 2pm. For groups, arrange a visit)

Within the "World Veterinary Year" Spanish military veterinaries
organized a temporary exhibition from June 1 to December 31,
2011 on historical regulatory material of veterinary military
campaign (1907-1965 period). Campaign kits, bags and priests’
money bags, national manufacturing surgical instruments, food
inspection equipment, disinfection and disinfestation material,
trichinoscopes and an excellent collection of E/18 models of
veterinary supplies to evacuate, treat and heal the horses are
exposed.

Museo de Miniaturas Militares Ciudadela de Jaca
Open Day for Museum Day (11am to 2pm and 5pm to 10pm)
Free admission, tour, workshop, leisure activities.
The program has been prepared jointly with another museum in the city: the Museo Diocesano de Jaca, so we
support the communication and teamwork for the entire city is aware of and participate in the celebration of
the Museums Day. We have prepared activities for children between 6 and 12 years old with pieces related to
both museums: soldiers displayed on frescos that remain in the Museo Diocesano and Romanesque hermitages
displayed in dioramas in the Museo de Miniaturas. The activities will include workshops, but also visits and
search within the two museums. There will be a joint presentation of the activities to the media and schools on
the city to encourage participation.
