African music concert (8pm)<br />

The University of Valladolid has among its art collections a wide range of African terracotta which belongs to<br />

the Arellano Alonso’s collection. As this year International Museum Day is focused on the African continent,<br />

the University of Valladolid decided to organise an activity in order for the public to get to know better the<br />

cultural heritage of this continent. That’s why we organised an African music concert on Wednesday, 18 May,<br />

that will be performed by the choir Good News. It will take place in the University lecture theatre (Universidad<br />

de Valladolid, Plaza de la Universidad, s/n); from 8pm. Entry will be free for spectators - subjected to the<br />

availability of seats.<br />
