African music concert (8pm)

The University of Valladolid has among its art collections a wide range of African terracotta which belongs to
the Arellano Alonso’s collection. As this year International Museum Day is focused on the African continent,
the University of Valladolid decided to organise an activity in order for the public to get to know better the
cultural heritage of this continent. That’s why we organised an African music concert on Wednesday, 18 May,
that will be performed by the choir Good News. It will take place in the University lecture theatre (Universidad
de Valladolid, Plaza de la Universidad, s/n); from 8pm. Entry will be free for spectators - subjected to the
availability of seats.
