conferences in the key trade and investment centers of Chicago,
San Francisco and New York, with aumiliery visits to some adjacent
cities. Such arrangements would not only have been more economical
and lessen travel, but it wolLi have maximized the use of
time.

With over 50 persons (inclarI:Lng dependents) now a part of
the Mission, the long experienco :i CIPM in arranging similar
international activities was an important factor in developing
and implementing the complex , r:;egovnLr; regarding hotels,
local and air transportation, d,t'iibution of per diem and
arranging scores of appointmento vth U.S. business firms and
other details.
