Greenstone & Caples Track Independent Walkers<br />

access The Caples and Greenstone Tracks start from the car-park at the end of Greenstone Road, 86kms from<br />
Queenstown, via Glenorchy. Alternatively, they can be started from Howden Hut on the Routeburn Track, which<br />
is one hour’s walk from the Divide, 80kms from Te Anau on the road to Milford Sound.<br />
In summer, both ends of the tracks are serviced daily by various transport companies, and a boat service operates<br />
from Glenorchy to the Greenstone Wharf. Contact the operators for schedules.<br />
Connections to the Divide/<strong>Fiordland</strong> end of this track are as per the Routeburn Track Track Transport option.<br />
