With all the qualities of a Great Walk, this track can guarantee more wilderness, less people. The track winds across some of New<br />
Zealand’s wildest land, leading trampers through parts of <strong>Fiordland</strong> National Park, along an alpine ridge, through forest, across Maori<br />
land and along deserted beaches of the south coast of the South Island. Two modern lodges set new standards for back country<br />
accommodation with gas heating and cooking, solar lighting, and all cooking equipment. Optional extras include: Premium Rooms<br />
private with super king or twin beds, hot showers, track transport and helicopter services – fly either your pack or yourself to the<br />
Lodges. A full range of packages are available and can be customised to suit. The track is a three day and two night experience.<br />
Our guides are passionate about the area and their wealth of knowledge and experience brings a new dimension to the experience.<br />
The Guided Walk package includes accommodation in Tuatapere pre-departure, a scenic helicopter flight across the bay, 2 nights in<br />
premium rooms at Okaka and Port Craig Lodges, helipacking to the lodges, transport from Tuatapere, all meals.<br />
