Yu In-chon is Minister of Ministry of Culture,<br />
Sports and Tourism. He was born in the city<br />
of Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, <strong>Korea</strong> in<br />
1951 and graduated with the bacheolor<br />
degree in theater and film from Chung-Ang<br />
University. He started his career as a TV and<br />
Theater actor. He has been placing a higher<br />
value on <strong>Korea</strong>’s cultural contents industry<br />
and pushing for improving the people’s<br />
awareness and understanding of tourism<br />
<strong>Korea</strong> after he was elected.<br />
Nowadays, Minister Yu is propelling a project<br />
to construct advanced tourism information<br />
cities in the country. “I will continuously<br />
push for a project that combines state-ofthe-art<br />
<strong>IT</strong> technology and tourism resources<br />
to attract more foreign tourists to the country.”<br />
said Yu.<br />
