In December 2007, subsequent to the year ended September 2007, R Boëttger and M Thompson were offered and accepted 50,000 and 40,000 performance<br />

shares respectively, which expire in December 2011. There have been no changes other than R Boëttger and M Thompson in the direct and indirect beneficial<br />

interest of the directors’ (and their associates’) holdings in the share capital of Sappi Limited.<br />
