PUMP HOUR METER<br />
There shall be a pump hour meter provided and installed inside the pump compartment. The hour<br />
meter shall be activated only when the water pump has been engaged.<br />
INDEPENDENT PUMP COMPARTMENT<br />
The main body and the pump compartment shall be fabricated as individual units. Both the body<br />
and pump compartment shall be fabricated using precision holding fixtures to ensure proper<br />
dimensions. All attachment points shall be heavily reinforced.<br />
5052-H32 ALUMINUM<br />
All body compartments shall be fabricated of 1/8", 5052-H32, smooth aluminum plate. The<br />
complete body shall be fabricated using break and bend techniques to form strong yet flexible Uni-<br />
Body structures.<br />
BODY SUBFRAME<br />
The main body sub frame shall be constructed from steel tubing. The sub frame shall be located<br />
at the front and rear of the body and in front and rear of the wheel well opening.<br />
The compartment area behind the rear axle shall be supported by a drop frame fabricated of steel<br />
tube and angles. All drop frame structures shall be welded directly to the torque box to allow the<br />
body to be a completely separate structure from the chassis.<br />
LEFT SIDE COMPARTMENTS<br />
COMPARTMENT L1<br />
There shall be a full height compartment located ahead of the rear wheel on the left side of the<br />
apparatus body. This compartment shall be designated as L1 within these specifications and any<br />
ensuing paperwork or drawings after contract execution. It shall be equipped with a roll-up door.<br />
Door Opening - 23" Wide x 56" High<br />
The compartment shall have a usable depth of 22 inches in the lower portion and 14 inches in the<br />
upper portion.<br />
COMPARTMENT L2<br />
A compartment shall be located above the rear wheel on the left side of the apparatus body. This<br />
compartment shall be designated as L2 within these specifications and any ensuing paperwork or<br />
drawings after contract execution. It shall be equipped with a roll-up door.<br />
Door Opening - 35" Wide x 22" High<br />
The compartment shall have a usable depth 14 inches.<br />
COMPARTMENT L3<br />
A compartment shall be located above the rear wheel on the left side of the apparatus body. This<br />
compartment shall be designated as L3 within these specifications and any ensuing paperwork or<br />
drawings after contract execution. It shall be equipped with a roll-up door.<br />
