Such trials shall be final and conclusive and failure to comply with these requirements shall be<br />
cause for rejection. Failure to comply with changes as required to conform to any clause of the<br />
specifications within 30 days after notice is given to the bidder of such changes, shall be cause for<br />
rejection of the apparatus.<br />
Permission to keep or store the apparatus in any building owned or occupied by the Department<br />
during the specified period, with the permission of the bidder, shall not constitute acceptance. No<br />
Exceptions<br />
PROPOSAL SEQUENCE<br />
Bid specifications shall be submitted in the same sequence as these specifications for ease of<br />
checking compliance. There shall be no exceptions allowed to this requirement. The apparatus<br />
committee intends to be thorough during the evaluation of bids process. In order to maximize<br />
efficiency and minimize the time it takes to thoroughly evaluate all received bids this requirement<br />
must be strictly adhered to.<br />
AWARD OF CONTRACT<br />
All bids submitted shall be good for a minimum of 30 days during which time bid securities<br />
submitted with the proposals shall be held by the purchaser. Criteria for the award shall include,<br />
but not be limited to, the following:<br />

Apparatus Performance And Safety Levels / Considerations<br />
Completeness of proposal<br />
Accuracy of accompanying data<br />

Compliance with purchasers request(s) for personnel qualifications or certifications<br />
Exceptions and clarifications<br />
Financial stability of bidder<br />
Local representation of the manufacturer<br />
Serviceability of the proposed apparatus<br />
Service capabilities of the bidder's local representative<br />
Compliance with NFPA Pamphlet 1901 (newest edition)<br />
Any other factor the purchaser deems relevant<br />
After the evaluation and award process is complete, all bidders shall be notified of the results and<br />
securities shall be returned.<br />
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION<br />
The contractor shall supply, at the time of delivery, at least one copy of the following documents:<br />
1. The manufacturers record of apparatus construction details, including the following<br />
information:<br />
a. Owners name and address<br />
b. Apparatus manufacturer, model, and serial number<br />
c. Chassis make, model, and serial number<br />
d. GAWR of front and rear axles<br />
e. Front tire size and total rated capacity in pounds (kg)<br />
