Commissioners. Ordinances require that there be at least one member from each<br />
<strong>City</strong> ward and that Commission membership includes members <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong><br />
Adjustment and the His<strong>to</strong>ric Preservation Commission. The Planning Commission<br />
meets the second and fourth Thursday <strong>of</strong> the month at 1:30 p.m. in the Council<br />
Chamber.<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> Post Employee Benefits Trust 297-2530<br />
(Finance)<br />
Provide for the procurement and payment <strong>of</strong> certain authorized post-employment<br />
and/or retiree health and welfare benefits. This Trust consists <strong>of</strong> the Finance Direc<strong>to</strong>r,<br />
the Personnel Direc<strong>to</strong>r, an Assistant <strong>City</strong> Manager and two citizens appointed by<br />
the Mayor. The Trust meets the second Monday <strong>of</strong> each month at 10:30 a.m. in the<br />
Council Chamber.<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> Redevelopment Authority 235-3771<br />
Promotes, stimulates, encourages and finances the growth, development and redevelopment<br />
<strong>of</strong> the industrial, commercial, retail and public structures and spaces and<br />
otherwise promote the <strong>City</strong>’s general economic welfare and prosperity. Membership<br />
consists <strong>of</strong> seven members, all residents <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong>, all appointed by the Mayor. Two<br />
<strong>of</strong> the Trustees shall be members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> Council. The Trustees meet the third<br />
Wednesday <strong>of</strong> each month at 9:30 a.m. in the <strong>of</strong>fices <strong>of</strong> the Urban Renewal Authority,<br />
204 N Robinson, Suite 2400.<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> Sports Facilities Oversight Board 297-2345<br />

Moni<strong>to</strong>rs, reviews and periodically reports <strong>to</strong> the <strong>City</strong> Council the progress <strong>of</strong> the<br />
design, phasing contracting and construction <strong>of</strong> the improvements <strong>to</strong> the Ford Center<br />
and the progress <strong>of</strong> the site acquisition, design, contracting and construction <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Basketball Training Facility. The Board consists <strong>of</strong> nine residents <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong>, appointed<br />
by the Mayor. Three members shall be members <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> Council. The<br />
Board meets the second Tuesday <strong>of</strong> each month at 3 p.m. in the Council Chambers.<br />
<strong>Oklahoma</strong> <strong>City</strong> Water Utilities Trust 297-2824<br />
(Utilities)<br />
Oversees the maintenance and expansion <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong>’s water, sewage and trash<br />
disposal systems. The trustees are the Mayor, the <strong>City</strong> Manager, one <strong>City</strong> Council<br />
member and two <strong>City</strong> residents appointed by the Mayor, all <strong>of</strong> which serve four-year<br />
terms. Trustees meet on the first and third Tuesday <strong>of</strong> each month at 2 p.m. in the<br />
Council Chamber.<br />
