Abandoned Cars 297-2535<br />
Police <strong>of</strong>ficers will leave a notice on derelict vehicles abandoned or improperly<br />
parked on public streets. If the vehicle is not moved within 72 hours, the Police<br />
will have it impounded.<br />
Abandoned Structures 297-2535<br />
Unoccupied structures must be boarded and secured. Development Services<br />
code inspec<strong>to</strong>rs issue legal notices <strong>to</strong> property owners <strong>to</strong> secure the structures. If<br />
the owners do not comply, the <strong>City</strong> can secure the property and charge the owner<br />
the cost, plus an administrative fee.<br />
Accident Reports 297-1112<br />
Vehicle accident reports are available from the Police Department for a fee.<br />
Reports are free for those involved for up <strong>to</strong> six months from the date <strong>of</strong> the<br />
accident.<br />
Action Center 297-2535<br />
The Action Center is the <strong>City</strong>’s “one-s<strong>to</strong>p” source for <strong>City</strong> government<br />
information and referral services. The Action Center receives reports <strong>of</strong> code<br />
violations and provides information about <strong>City</strong> programs and services. Service<br />
representatives are available Monday through Friday, or you can use the online<br />
service request at www.okc.gov or by leaving a recorded message or sending an<br />
e-mail <strong>to</strong> action.center@okc.gov.<br />
Activity Permit 297-2531<br />
Permits are required for activities on public property that create noise, traffic<br />
disruption and/or require street closures. Examples <strong>of</strong> such events include<br />
parades and organized protests. Traffic Management issues the free permits.<br />
