transported by railways earlier,<br />

– then even today more or less the same number of<br />

commodities are likely to be transported.<br />

• There may have been some reduction <strong>in</strong> commodities<br />

due to block rake movement,* t*<br />

– but such reduction would have been maybe 20% –<br />

30% at the most.<br />

• It cannot justify such drastic reduction.<br />
