Spherolit technology recessed luminaires The Compact HIT range of downlights was the first to feature Spherolit reflectors in recessed ceiling luminaires. This has now been extended by Spherolit versions such as washlights and double washlights. A Softec lens as cover glass further improves the uniformity produced by luminaires with these reflectors. Just as in the downlight versions, these Compact HIT models are designed exclusively for energy-efficient, long-life metal halide lamps and feature compact housings with an extra shallow recess depth. Extended by lighting tools which create the vertical illuminances required for spatial perception, the Compact HIT product range becomes a neatly designed, consistent system which allows the designer to create attractive and cost-effective lighting concepts in accordance with the principle of efficient visual comfort. The new Compact HIT recessed ceiling luminaires complement horizontal lighting with a vertical light component – to create efficient visual comfort, ideal for shops or administrative buildings. Double washlights This type of luminaire uniformly illuminates parallel walls in hallways and corridors in addition to the floor.
