VETERINARY MEDICINE<br />

<strong>Indiana</strong> <strong>University</strong> does not <strong>of</strong>fer a degree in veterinary<br />

medicine; however, a student may complete preveterinary<br />

requirements at IU <strong>South</strong> <strong>Bend</strong> prior to applying for<br />

admission to the Purdue <strong>University</strong> Veterinary School<br />

or any other veterinary school. A student is eligible<br />

for admission to veterinary school upon receipt <strong>of</strong> a<br />

bachelor’s degree (or, in exceptional cases, completion<br />

<strong>of</strong> 90 credit hours <strong>of</strong> university-level courses; however,<br />

nearly all students admitted to veterinary school have<br />

a bachelor’s degree). A student who plans to apply to<br />

veterinary school may earn his or her bachelor’s degree<br />

in any major, but must complete the following courses<br />

prior to admission:
