Diploma in Medical Record Techniques (DMRT)<br />

(Course Code: DMRT 19)<br />

: Two years (including 6 months compulsory internship in<br />

Majeedia Hospital)<br />

: 06 (Inclusive of one seat reserved for NRI/Sponsored<br />

candidates)<br />

Additional Seats for Foreign Nationals.<br />

Note: For admission against the Foreign National/NRI/Sponsored<br />

seats, wherever applicable, written test is not required.<br />

Eligibility :<br />

Diploma in X-ray and ECG Tech./ Diploma in Operation<br />

Theatre Tech./ Diploma in Dialysis Tech./ DMRT<br />

A candidate must have:<br />

Important: Students applying for diploma programmes conducted by<br />

the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences should note that these diplomas<br />

are not yet recognized, nevertheless the students who have done<br />

diploma in these courses have secured jobs in reputed hospitals and<br />

nursing homes.<br />

• Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination<br />

with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary<br />

Education or any other examination recognized by <strong>Jamia</strong> <strong>Hamdard</strong><br />

as equivalent thereto securing at least 45% marks in the aggregate<br />

of these subjects.<br />

• Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by <strong>Jamia</strong> <strong>Hamdard</strong>.<br />

• Candidates with 10 + 2 / Intermediate with subjects other than<br />

science may be considered for DMRT only<br />

Selection Procedure:<br />

A Diploma Entrance Test (DET) will be conducted to test the knowledge<br />

of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Awareness.<br />

The standard of the questions will be based on the qualifying examination<br />

i.e. Senior Secondary/Intermediate.<br />
