A hostler will have to deposit an amount of Rs. 5000 as Hostel Security<br />
Money. The Security money will not be refunded if a student over stays in<br />
the hostel for more than a month.<br />
ANNUAL FEE FOR PhD / MPhil PROGRAMME FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS /<br />
NRI / INDUSTRY SPONSORED CANDIDATES<br />
• The annual fee for Foreign Nationals for PhD programme will be US$<br />
4000 in the case of Pharmacy and Science students.<br />
• The annual fee for Foreign Nationals for PhD programme will be US$<br />
5000 in the case of Management and Computer Science students.<br />
• The annual fee for Foreign Nationals for PhD/M Phil, programme will be<br />
US$ 1500 in the case of Islamic Studies and Federal Studies.<br />
ANNUAL FEE FOR PhD PHARMACEUTICAL MEDICINE<br />
• The annual fee for PhD Pharmaceutical Medicine will be Rs. 2,50,000<br />
for SFS and US $ 8000 for Foreign/NRI/ Industry Sponsored students.<br />
NOTE:<br />
• Foreign Nationals from SAARC countries will pay US$ 200 less for every<br />
course except for PhD in Federal Studies and Islamic Studies.<br />
• No fee will be charged from teaching and non teaching employees of<br />
<strong>Jamia</strong> <strong>Hamdard</strong> registered for PhD Programme. However, they will pay<br />
admission, enrolment and examination fee.<br />
• Annual Hostel fee for International Hostel is US $ 1000 or equivalent<br />
Indian Rupees for boys.<br />
• Annual Hostel fee for Sultana Razia girls Hostel is US $ 500 or<br />
equivalent Indian Rupees for girls.<br />
• Preference will be given to foreign / NRI/ sponsored candidates in<br />
the above Hostels.<br />
Important note about hostel fee:<br />
Rates of hostel fee may change year to year depending on resources and<br />
general increase in maintenance of the facility. In case a student gets hostel<br />
accommodation in the second, third or subsequent year of his/ her study,<br />
the rates of hostel fee will be applicable as per the existing rates in the<br />
year he/she gets hostel accommodation. In case a student joins another<br />
programme of study, he/she will have to pay the hostel fee as per the<br />
prevalent rates. For example, if a student who is staying in the hostel joins<br />
MD programme after completing BUMS, he/she will have to pay the hostel<br />
fee as per the rates, which are prevalent when he gets admission to MD<br />
programme. Similar rule will apply to those who join PhD after completing<br />
Master’s programme, as they have to pay the fee applicable to PhD students<br />
in the year they get hostel accommodation as PhD student.<br />
