BTech -Computer Science (Course Code: BTCS 38)<br />

Note: For admission against the Foreign National/NRI/Sponsored seats,<br />

wherever applicable, written test is not required.<br />

BTech -Information Technology (Course Code: BTIT 39)<br />

Duration<br />

: Four years (Eight semesters)<br />

Total Seats : 30 in each course<br />

(Inclusive of seats reserved for NRI / Sponsored candidates)<br />

Additional seats for Foreign Nationals.<br />

Eligibility<br />

A candidate must have:<br />

• Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with<br />

Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Central Board of Secondary<br />

Education or any other examination recognized by <strong>Jamia</strong> <strong>Hamdard</strong> as<br />

equivalent thereto, securing atleast 50% marks in aggregate.<br />

Selection Procedure<br />

The admission to the B.Tech programme will be on the basis of an Entrance test.<br />

The entrance test paper will be based on questions of senior secondary (10+2<br />

standard).<br />

BCA / B Sc (IT) (Course Code: BCAG 40)<br />

Duration<br />

: Three years (six semesters)<br />

Total Seats : 60<br />

(Inclusive of seats reserved for NRI / Sponsored candidates)<br />

Additional seats for Foreign Nationals.<br />

Eligibility<br />

A candidate must have:<br />

• Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with<br />

Mathematics as one of the subjects from Central Board of Secondary<br />

Education or any other examination recognized by <strong>Jamia</strong> <strong>Hamdard</strong> as<br />

equivalent thereto, securing at least 50% marks.<br />

Selection Procedure<br />

The admission to the BCA / BSc (IT) programme will be on the basis of an<br />

Entrance test. The Entrance test paper will be based as per senior secondary<br />

syllabus (10+2 standard).<br />
