French Lectrice<br />
Cécile Dubois was born and educated in France. She obtained a<br />
BA degree in Classics and Philosophy from the <strong>University</strong> Paris<br />
IV-Sorbonne before successfully joining the Ecole Normale<br />
Supérieure (Ulm) in 2008. She then received her BA degree in<br />
History and a Masters in Classics from the <strong>University</strong> Paris<br />
IV-Sorbonne, which enabled her to write on several <strong>of</strong> her<br />
academic interests including Greek plays, Roman Epic poetry<br />
and Ancient art. From 2011-<strong>2013</strong>, Cécile studied for the French<br />
Agrégation (Lettres Classiques), which she obtained in <strong>2013</strong>.<br />
Cécile will start a PhD in 2014 on Roman Epic poetry.<br />
Outgoing Fellows<br />
Dr Andrew Tucker has moved to Cape Town, South Africa to continue his<br />
Sociogeographical studies.<br />
Dr Olivia Caramello is visiting the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn for two<br />
months before taking up a post-doctoral research position at the Institute des Hautes<br />
Études, France.<br />
Dr Michael Lombardo has taken up a Lectureship at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Warwick.<br />
Outgoing CRAs<br />
Dr Pau Figueras has taken up a Fellowship at King’s <strong>College</strong> <strong>Cambridge</strong>.<br />
Dr David Leith has moved to the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Exeter as an Advanced Research Fellow in<br />
the Department <strong>of</strong> Classics and Ancient History.<br />
Dr Flynn Castles has taken up a position at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Oxford to continue working<br />
on metamaterials.
