A consortium agreement will be signed within three months of the project start date, in<br />
accordance with the JISC funding requirements.<br />
2.2 <strong>Project</strong> Management<br />
The Pro Vice-Chancellor for Access and Widening Participation and Executive Dean for Kent<br />
at UCA will act as the <strong>Project</strong> Sponsor who will champion the project. The Director of<br />
Research and Enterprise at UCA will act as the <strong>Project</strong> Director. The project will be<br />
managed by a <strong>Project</strong> Manager, who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of<br />
the project and ensuring effective communication between the project team. The <strong>Project</strong><br />
Manager will also provide regular reporting to JISC and to the <strong>Project</strong> Director.<br />
The project team will consist of the Metadata Researcher, Digital Cataloguer, Photographer,<br />
the Learning Technologist, two consultants, and student assistants. The Metadata<br />
Researcher will lead on: the selection and identification of fashion garments; the<br />
establishment of the metadata set supported by the expertise of Zandra Rhodes as<br />
consultant; the staging of the fashion items for digital capture; and they will also ensure the<br />
accurate match between the physical and digital data. The Digital Cataloguer will develop<br />
the digital metadata catalogue for the recording of this information, provide training and<br />
ongoing support on its use, and will also develop an appropriate metadata structure,<br />
controlled vocabularies, and written guidelines to document and support use of the<br />
catalogue.<br />
The Photographer will execute the digital photography and post-production of the digital<br />
images, and will lead on the staging and lighting of the items. The work on the digitisation of<br />
