1.7 Related <strong>Project</strong>s<br />

There are no related projects.<br />

1.8 Constraints<br />

- The digital capture of the collection will need to take place in-situ within the working<br />

fashion and textile studio where the garments are held in order to ensure their<br />

safekeeping.<br />

- A geographically distributed project team which means that clear, regular, and<br />

effective communication is essential.<br />

1.9 Assumptions<br />

- Realistic estimate of time required for unwrapping, preparing, and staging garments<br />

and their digitisation and cataloguing (at a rate of 15 garments per week in order to<br />

achieve 500 items).<br />

- Ease of recruitment of student assistants, and ongoing retention of student assistants<br />

and project team. Additional students will be recruited so they are available in case<br />

of turnover.<br />
